Humble beginnings
I started off with animating in summer 2009. I was inspired to do so by a YouTube user with the name chrunks101 who, at the time, was doing dbz lsw mods. I wanted to make a good animation but I didn't have the money to buy the expensive programs, suxh as flash, after effects, photoshop, etc. Plus, none of those programs (except photoshop) are obtainable in my country so they were even more expensive to get. Thats why I decided to make use of what I already had. I used the simplest of editing programs, MS Paint. I make all my frames in MS Paint, and then I put therm into an animation program called Advanced GIFAnimator which connects the frames into an animation and adds time delay. My first animation was Z-Fighter vs Broly, which came out AWFUL compared to my newer material, but back then I was really proud of myself. Here is the animation:
Moving on
I started to love doing dbz animations and perfected my white background animations. This is my last non-series animation without a background:
The first DBAF series
Of, course, I can't go past that. I created a new series which was originally meant to be after my own ideas, but then fans wanted me to use ssj6, 7, 8, 9 and even 10. At first I thought the idea was cool (being a young fanboy :D) but after I did my 3rd episode. I saw that it was a horrible idea but I still moved on and created the first AF series in my life :D. When that was done, I couldn't stop at just AF, so I created a new series, called Dragonball Greatest Heroes. The saga was jst a 3 episode fight between Goku and Vegeta who had their final battle at last. This was the first I time I used a program other than MS Paint. For the beam struggle effect I used a trial version of Adobe After Effects, which then, sadly, expired so I continued with MS Paint. Up to this point, I had a friend who helped me with animations and also had his own storyline vids, which also covered the AF saga. His Youtube name is kaberichatterjee1. Anyway, here is the last lsw project I ever made. It is the final episode of DBGH:
A step forward
After GH was done, I got a new, big inspiration that still inspires me to this day. I am grateful for this mans work and I respect him. His YouTube name is mrqball80. He was my inspiration to move from lsw sprites to MUGEN sprites. Here is mrqball80s latest vid:
The new DBAF
The moment I moved on to MUGEN sprites I started to make a completely new DBAF saga, using characters from Dragonball AF mugen by Ristar87. This new series is bound to be from nothing but my own ideas, no regarding for fans, who kinda...ruined my first AF saga. I do take suggestions but I wont just use them like last time but they are carefully thought through. Anyway, I stayed with working with MS Paint. But then thre was a problem. Mugen sprites were EXTREMELY detailed, much unlike lsw sprites which I used before. And also, the effects for these sprites were not compatible with MS Paint so I had to download another program called GIMP. GIMP is an editing program that could transparent the areas which paint can't. Also, to open up MUGEN sprites I had to download another program, called Fighter Factory. Luckily for me, none of these programs was a trial so I can use them at will :) Right now, I have finished the Xicor saga, which can be seen in the "AF Episodes" section.
The Evil Goku saga
This is a saga that follows the events after the Xicor saga. As the name says, Goku will become evil for the first time. Also some characters will make a premiere appearance such as Broly lssj4, Trunks ssj3 and others.
